Each weekday starting Monday November 3rd through Tuesday, November 11th, Ted and Amy will choose one Veteran to spotlight and recognize.
Kate Eldredge nominated her dad John Cook.
Kate writes: Dad served in the United States Navy on the USS Jacksonville submarine. He is currently the Commander of our area American Legion. He will always be my hero!
Paige Henry nominated her uncle!
Paige writes: My Uncle Vic Liberatore served as a Sargeant in the Marines from 1962 to 1966, serving fourteen months in Vietnam. After he got out of the service, he was a Master Mason with the Bricklayers Local 2 for over 40 years.
Joanne McNaney nominated her husband Thomas!
Joanne writes: My husband served 33 years with the Army National Guard which included 3 overseas tours and many local missions. Thank you for your service Tom, we all love you.
Sara Mantor nominated Dylan Follo!
Sara writes: Dylan Follo is a new Army Reserve Veteran who shows integrity, compassion, and unwavering strength both in and out of uniform.
Debbie White nominated her grandfather!
Debbie writes: My grandfather John Tesoriero served in the US Navy back in the 1940’s and was on the ship USS Estes. After he got out of the service, he opened an Italian Bread Business in Oswego in the early 1960s and delivered to many of the restaurants in the Oswego area. He passed away in 1992. I wish I knew more about his service.
Kim Natali has nominated her husband!
Kim writes: Vince was in the Army Reserves, serving in the Fifth Battalion, 98th Division Civil Affairs Unit. His proudest moment was graduating from the United States Sergeant Majors Academy. He is a Combat Veteran of Desert Storm and also served during Operation Enduring Freedom. We are very proud he chose to serve his country for so many years and he continues to be active serving his community in many different ways.

She writes:
My papa was a Marine in Vietnam for many years. He unfortunately passed away in September but I know he’s looking down on me and his family. I love you and miss you Pops!
To all Veterans, thank you for your service. We will never forget.
