Rick Roberts
Weekday Afternoons 3PM-7PM / Rick’s Pick, Weekdays at 6:26PM
Saturdays 2PM-6PM
Rick Roberts has been a staple at 93Q since 1997, starting part-time at just 16 years old.
After graduating from Liverpool High School in 2000, he joined the team full-time and quickly rose through the ranks—hosting nights from 1999 to 2006 before moving to afternoons and taking on the role of Assistant Program Director and Music Director. On September 1, 2022, Rick was promoted to Program Director and Digital Content Producer, overseeing everything from music and programming to digital strategy and social media.
You can hear Rick weekdays from 3–7pm and Saturdays from 2–6pm, though he’s often behind the scenes all day making sure 93Q runs smoothly.
Outside the station, Rick has taught at Le Moyne College, officiates basketball games as an IAABO-certified ref, and helps run leagues for the Syracuse Sports Association. He lives in Syracuse with his wife Katie, their two kids Kylie and Caden, and a house full of pets—including a rescue chug, two cats, a dog, and Kylie’s horse Mira. A die-hard Syracuse basketball fan and pasta lover, Rick brings passion and personality to everything he does.
Listen to Rick’s Pick weekdays at 6:26! Rick plays a potential hit song during your drive home!
