Olivia Rodrigo has announced the launch of Daisy Chain Fields, a new music festival built around an all-women lineup and a charitable mission. The singer revealed that the inaugural event is scheduled for Aug. 29 in Irvine, California, bringing together a wide range of artists from across generations and genres.
The festival announcement confirmed performances from Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Doechii, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, the Breeders and several other acts. Stevie Nicks will appear as one of the event’s special guests, alongside Karen O and Sarah McLachlan.
Rodrigo is also set to perform at the festival. In a statement released with the announcement, she said the project had been a longtime goal and described the lineup as a mix of artists she admires and longtime friends.
A central part of Daisy Chain Fields is its charitable focus. Organizers said all net proceeds from the event will support organizations that advocate for women and girls. Beneficiaries include groups working in areas such as reproductive health, legal rights, maternal care and support services for families.
The festival expands Rodrigo’s ongoing efforts to support causes affecting women and girls through fundraising, advocacy and charitable giving.
