A nude portrait of Harry Styles is among the photographs featured in a new exhibition by British photographer Tim Walker at London’s National Portrait Gallery.
The exhibition, titled Tim Walker’s Fairyland: Love and Legends, opens October 9, 2026, and runs through February 7, 2027. It explores LGBTQ+ identity, love, community, and activism through photography.
Styles has collaborated with Walker on several occasions. The photographer created the artwork for Styles’ 2019 album Fine Line, including a nude photograph released with the album. The pair also worked together on a 2022 photoshoot for Better Homes & Gardens.
Although the newly displayed portrait has been described as an outtake from the Fine Line sessions, its precise origin remains unconfirmed. A connection to the 2022 photoshoot has also been suggested but has not been independently established.
The exhibition features approximately 250 portraits celebrating LGBTQ+ culture and history, including images of musicians, performers, artists, and activists.
Styles’ portrait joins a broader collection highlighting Walker’s distinctive approach to photography and personal expression.
