Ariana Grande gave fans an unexpected Wicked reunion during her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop at London’s O2 Arena on August 16.
During the concert, Grande welcomed Cynthia Erivo to the stage for a pair of performances tied to their work together. The two stars performed For Good, the emotional Wicked duet associated with their characters Glinda and Elphaba. They also sang Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again, another number they have previously performed together.
The guest appearance came during the second night of Grande’s London run. The shows mark the closing stretch of the Eternal Sunshine Tour, which began in North America before moving to the U.K.
Grande and Erivo developed a close musical partnership while starring in the Wicked films. Their latest live reunion continued that connection in front of a concert audience rather than on a movie set or television special.
The London performance added a theatrical moment to Grande’s tour and gave fans another chance to hear the pair sing together live.
