The Backstreet Boys are adding a family-friendly project to their long career with Bottle Up, a new song featured in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie.
The group shared during promotion for the film that recording the track carried a special connection because several members have children who grew up watching PAW Patrol. For Nick Carter, the franchise has been part of family life since his oldest son was young, giving the collaboration a personal side beyond the studio.
Bottle Up was co-written by Ed Sheeran and Savan Kotecha and brings the group’s familiar pop sound into the animated movie. The accompanying music video also pairs the Backstreet Boys with characters from the PAW Patrol world.
The project also reflects how much life has changed for the group since its early years. Brian Littrell was the first member to become a father, while the others later experienced the same challenge of balancing touring, recording and family responsibilities.
For the band, the song offered a simple bonus: a few extra cool points at home.
