As with all moms, trying to find the time to get together is rough. Kids, work, and all the things in between always seem to come first. Recently one of my best friends of over 20+ years has gotten divorced. She has been working nonstop to provide for her girls. We have wanted to do something for her to show her that even in a dark time we can still have fun and let loose with each other. It would be amazing to not only do this for her, but to get the 4 of us all together (without children) to have a night to relax, have fun and remember that we aren’t just moms, but 4 best friends.

I would LOVE for my daughter Brooke and her friends to get to the slumber party. My daughter is turning 22 on 1/25. My one and only! She goes to RIT and is in the ROTC program in the Space Force. She has excellent grades. She is the most dedicated and busy girl and she needs some Slumber Party fun in her life!
She gets up at 4:30, works out with military, Showers, maybe gets a small nap, goes to class, does homework, goes back to military detail, gets back to her home at 10 pm to do more homework and does it all over the following day! She has other military activities on the weekend. Don’t get me wrong,  she loves this. She lives for the military and our country.
She deserves a break and some fun. She is going to put her all into America and I just want her to put a bit of that into herself.

I honestly can’t tell you the last time I had a fun night out. The last few years have been a whirlwind. After losing my dad to cancer, starting a new job and moving to a new city I have found that it’s so much harder to start over then I thought it would be. A chance to make new friends in the area would be amazing! My cousins just started new jobs as teachers too and I would love to treat them to a great night out. I listen to your show every morning on my commute and honestly love listening to you guys. Thanks for offering this opportunity!

My friend is living a new lifestyle because she’s been hiding in the closet for 40 years and finally realized women are the best. We want to have a fun weekend celebrating her coming out and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. She is so brave and we need to let her know how much we support her and want her to live on the wild side at Amy’s Slumber Party!

This would be such an amazing way to celebrate my daughter finally being old enough to enjoy what her mom has a few times. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to purchase tickets this year as badly as I wanted to surprise her with them for her birthday. I truly wanted her to experience it in person and not through photos. Her salon is closing shop a few days before this so she would actually have the weekend off. Plus it’s my birthday weekend! If we were to be chosen I would love to bring my mother who is a caretaker and my sister who was recently married. It would truly be an AMAZING, well needed night for all of us! Thank you for the opportunity.

I’ve always only had a few friends throughout childhood and now even my adult life, but never felt like I really belonged to a group. I now work with my 3rd grade team of teacher friends and we have been together for the last 7 years. It is the first time I feel like I really belong!
We have each other’s backs throughout our school days and in our personal lives. We cheer each other on in good times and cry on each others’ shoulders in bad times. We are 100% trusting of one another which is something I personally have never had.` I would love to win a night out with my girls to celebrate our friendships. They mean the world to me!!!

Like so many other women, my friends and I dream about having a night out. I heard about this contest this morning on the radio and had a big “light bulb” moment. Over the last four years, we have all become new moms (some of us new moms of multiples!) and we are tired but miss each other dearly. We have been going back and forth for ages on what to do, how to do it and nothing has yet worked out. With the kiddos now all over 1 year old, this would be an amazing surprise for them. A night out with food, music and fun. A night to be reminded how far we’ve come and how much love is now in our group.

My friends and I have had a tough 5 years. We are nurses and other healthcare workers that have worked every day for 5 years. Through the first wave of COVID until today I feel like we are getting yelled at for medication shortages and prices of medications. We are exposed to flu, RSV, Covid, the stomach flu and everything else you can think of everyday. We feel like we haven’t had a break. THEN we come home and are moms, wives, maids, and chefs, all while processing what just went on during our workday. We need a break!

I am nominating my close friend Stephanie Straub as we both did this shocking thing of leaving “good” cookie cutter jobs and dove head first into opening solo practices a few years ago for mental health counseling. Luckily, we have had success and have grown into two separate small group practices recently, but it was quite a journey! This journey came with many, many obstacles in which we supported each other through. We love the work we do but all the behind the scenes of running a business, building a business and making $0 for months, providing therapy, and raising our own families- we would love to celebrate in a special way how far we have come and how rewarding it is to know we are helping so many children, teens and adults through the work we do.

I am nominating my mom Michelle Coleman. She is a single mom of 5 kids and deserves a night away. As a devoted mom, aunt, grandma, and sister, she’s always doing so much for others besides herself without question. This would be an epic surprise for her.

Good luck and we hope to see you at Amy’s Slumber Party 2025!
