Jack Ryan, has been a fresh face in Central New York since mid 2012. He hails from Buffalo and is an avid Buffalo Sabres fan. He is the youngest of five siblings and an uncle of nine. “The oldest [niece/nephew] of which is one year younger than me. It made things interesting when I was younger, having such a huge age gap between [all of] my siblings!”

Although he has love for his hometown sports teams, Ryan says that he is now also an SU basketball fan! In his free time he “Love[s] to travel, listen to all sorts of music, and play guitar.”

No stranger to radio, Ryan has worked as board-op, producer, on-air talent, programming, and promotions with other stations. “While [I was] there I had the opportunity of interviewing the Salahi’s(A.K.A. White House Crashers) and Comedians, RalphieMay and Kevin Hart (both hilarious), as well as [some different] bands.”

Ryan has had a passion for radio since he was a child. “[Ever] since I was five years old, all I did was listen to different [radio] shows and pretend I was the DJ. I even made my own radio station with a tiny AM transmitter.” He is a new addition to the 93Q weekend airwaves and his enthusiasm can be heard Sunday mornings from 6a-10a. “I love radio!  At the time, I would do shows for my family. Now I get to do it for real!”

Ryan’s friendly and out-going personality can be seen at many of Cumulus Syracuse’s promotional events. He pulls double duty as an on-air personality for 93Q and promotions tech for all four of Cumulus Syracuse’s stations (93Q/95X/105.9 The Rebel/ The Score 1260). “I love interacting with listeners at event[s]. If you ever see me at an event, come on up and say hi!”
