So Amy was doing a quick Google search the other day for Manti Te'o, the college football player with the made up girlfriend...and stumbled across THIS web site for a product called MANties...no, not ties for men. MANties...it rhymes with PANties...as in underwear. Yes, panties made for men! JUST IN TIME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY! Really? They're billed as, "For those nights and days, when you want to be and feel a little special, naughty, and very sexy, these Manties® are for you. Once you have them on, it will be "hard" to take them off.

They are made of nylon and have the extra room where you need it, for the most comfortable fit there is. Once you try a pair, you will wonder why you never tried them before. WE JUST LOVE ELLEN!

I may not wear MANties, but I DO love Ellen! We mentioned this on the air last month. At the end of December a 16-year-old Michigan teenager named Emily Torres posted a video on YouTube asking Ellen DeGeneres to help hook her up with her dream prom date: Bruno Mars.  Well, Ellen got together with Bruno and they made Emily's dream come true on Tuesday...sort of...

A CAPPELLA FOR THE FELLAS

We were joined in the studio this morning by A Cappella group NoXcuse, as we get ready for a fun night of A Cappella music featuring several of CNY's best acappella groups. High energy college acappella groups include The Geneva Convention, The Pegs, The Binghamton Crosbies and Syracuse University's Orange Appeal. The concert is being hosted by Syracuse's own NoXcuse. All proceeds to benefit the Oxford Inn, a Catholic Charities homeless shelter for drug-free men.

BEST IN SHOW OR EWOK???

A judge at the Westminster Kennel Club show at New York’s Madison Square Garden must’ve seen something appealing about an affenpinscher named Banana Joe, because the dog was awarded Best in Show honors Tuesday night. Banana Joe, a black dog with a monkey-like face, was also the toy group winner.  In winning Best in Show, Banana Joe beat out a Portuguese water dog, a bichon frise, an American foxhound, an Old English sheepdog, a German wirehaired pointer and a fox terrier. Banana Joe’s handler, Ernesto Lara, says the six-year-old has “won a lot of big, big shows, but none like this one.” Banana Joe will now retire to the Netherlands where he was born. Judge Michael Dougherty was sure he made the right choice for Best in Show. Dougherty said, “I’ve never had my hands on a better affenpinscher. Ever.”
