93Q Ted & Amy Blog
9:53AM January 22, 2013

We mentioned yesterday that Amy has come down with her yearly cough, as we head towards the Slumber Party. Well, now she's on some sort of prescription cough medicine that has her whippier that a chapter from 50 Shades Of Gray! This is the kind of stuff that they recommend you don't use while operating heavy machinery. What exactly do they mean when they say "heavy machinery"? Can she run a snow blower but not a snow plow? Use a blow dryer but not a bull dozer? An egg beater but not a wrecking ball? I'm thinking I'll need to driver her home later...She was pretty lucky that she was able to get an appointment with her doctor yesterday. Although there was a problem when it came time for her to step up onto the scale. At first, she refused because she was wearing a "heavy sweater" and it would not have reflected her accurate weight. She actually made the Physician's Assisstant write down on her chart that she was wearing a heavy sweater! REALLY? That's why I always sstrip down to my skivvies to get weighed...that may be why my doctor moved the scales out of the waiting room...Speedy recovery Amy!
