I'M IN A POST HALLOWEEN CANDY COMA!
October is history. Halloween is over and I have a TON of candy left! We didn't really have as many trick or treaters as we'd planned, so Sunday I went to town on the mini Snickers. I may have over done it. I have a kind of sugar shake this morning. Like the DTs, only from candy. You know the feeling, right? Like you've been on a merry-go-round for a couple of hours. Probably not a good thing, so beware. If you've still got Halloween candy left, eat it in moderation. Speaking of Hsalloween, thanks to the almost 250 people who entered their pets in our annual Pet Costume Contest. New this year, we had the folks at the contest pick four finalists to compete for the "People's Choice" award. Click here for details and to cast your vote!
SPEAKING OF ANIMALS...
If you're into backyard birds, Ted Fox, Rosamond Gifford Zoo's resident BIRD man stopped by this morning. It's even MORE important in the winter to keep those birdfeeders filled, because there is less of a food source around than in the summer. Want to attract more birds this fall and winter? The zoo is doing something really fun - a family overnight stay IN the zoo?? Not in the lion's cage, we promise. For more information, go to http://www.rosamondgiffordzoo.org/roars-snores-overnights
THE SINGLE GUY
Single Guy went all out for Halloween this year...and no one was there to appreciate it. Hear his visit this morning here...
