Okay, not really, but you STILL have time to get tickets for tonight’s Bella Casa Fashion Show to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of CNY at the Holiday Inn on Electronics Parkway in Liverpool. Amy and I will be strutting our stuff on the runway along with dozens of other local celebrity types starting at 8 pm. Amy will be sporting an outfit from Show Offs in Armory Square and I will be decked out in a tux from Giovanni’s Mens Ware in North Syracuse. I can pull off the formal look pretty well, but only for about an hour, and then, somehow, I get totally rumpled looking. I’m not sure if I sit wrong or my body humidity does something to the fabric, but I go from James Bond to a chimney sweep in 60 minutes flat!

Dear Ted and Amy,
I am getting my bachelor’s degree this month after working on it part time for many years. This will be my first graduation ceremony and I am so thrilled that it’s finally here after all of my hard work. Now I just found out that my daughter’s cheerleading team will be competing in a huge regional competition on the same day! SHE is beyond excited and is looking forward to the whole family coming to see her. So, what do I do? Which one do I give up ? And even worse, I want the family to be at my event. Is it okay to be selfish just this once or should the kids always come first?
